Amazing views!

For 2 adults & a 15 year old we paid €7.50, which included a self guide tour leaflet. You could go at your own pace, there weren't many visitors so there was no rush. The climb up... read more

Been a few times now... the views form the castle are breathtaking and being so close to history is somehow so awe inspiring. Great photo opportunities, a brilliant way to bring the past to life and after your trip there are some lovely bars right on the river to relax and take in the view.

It’s impossible to miss the striking Castle of Miravet overlooking the River Ebro in Tarragona, Catalonia. Picture speaks it all!

What a great visit at the old knight Templar castle. Very well preserved and a lot of history to read about. The view is amassing.

The route to the castle was an easy two hour drive for us from Barcelona. I have an association with Templar history; this place was like a visit with strange familiarity. The views of the river were very lovely, and the village was incredibly charming. Not many people there for Summer. It's a small trek up to the castle through... More

For 2 adults & a 15 year old we paid €7.50, which included a self guide tour leaflet. You could go at your own pace, there weren't many visitors so there was no rush. The climb up the winding staircase to the roof terrace was slightly scary to start but worth it for the amazing views! Very sunny, but lovely... More

Fascinating and stunning castle - self guided tour makes it easy to take at own pace. Free entry on Tuesdays! Very steep spiral stairs up to the top roof... Good footwear recommended!

Moorish, Templar castle high above the town. Don't be fooled by the narrow streets on the way there - there is a car park up at the castle. Small guide explains the various elements of the castle and there are good views from the top of the keep ( reached up a narrow spiral staircase).

This castle is a lovely visit. We cycled up to it (it is steep). There was plenty to see but the views from the different levels surrounding it make it a must. There are toilets at the castle but no cafe facilities although the gift shop have a bottle of water or cans of pop. Going up the tower on... More

Set in this picturesque town of miravet. We waited 6 years to visit here and it was well worth the wait. It was as beautiful as we had seen in photos. Wonderful old castle with lots of history and amazing views. A must see.

The scenery from this spot is just amazing. The castle is really well preserved and easily accessible. Some of the info-paragraphs are a little shallow, but you should do your own reading anyway.
