Great place to visit, they have wine samples you can try before you buy. Some fantastic local wine at great prices. Staff are very helpful and speak good English. On some days you get the local farmers bringing their grapes during this time of year (September) after the harvest. There is a market held on the car park opposite selling... More

This wonderful little Bodega is a long standing family favourite of ours. We thoroughly enjoyed the wealth of information on offer and the obvious passion and talent that goes into every bottle of wine. Thank you so much for a wonderful morning and the wonderful wine. X

we benefit from having chosen to spend our retirement in murla, spain. one of our pleasures is visiting Peter and Helen in their local bodega, and seeing it flourish over the years. each season has produced some excellent wines; a visit is recommended as soon as possible, since the business is threatened with closure from local bureaucracy. enjoy this unique... As we'd read about Peter's wine tasting we were keen to visit during our stay on the coast. So to make sure we totally enjoyed, we took our hire car and booked a night in the B and B Arco Iris and Iris booked us a taxi to Peters. Well what a great visit. Peter is passionate about good wine... More

We first tried to visit Peter's bodega last summer but very disappointingly our schedules did not coincide. Therefore we were delighted to be able to agree a slot during our relatively short visit to the area this month. We got horribly lost and felt very embarrassed to be turning up so late but Peter made us feel very welcome and... More

Having spent a wonderful early evening with Peter at his vineyard, I want to recommend that you get there. His wines hit all the right notes. His stories are interesting, opinionated and very amusing. We had a young man of 12 with us and he was kept entertained too, so what more could we ask for! The tapas was home... More

For years our Spanish friends have told us there are no wineries within a 30 mile radius of Denia, Alicante, where we come every year. What a wonderful surprise to discover La Bodega del Garroferal -- Peter Arnold wines -- tucked away in Jalon valley, just 30 minutes from Denia. Although he was in the middle of bottling, Peter welcomed... More

Peter welcomed us and gave us a wonderful two hours of tasting his delicious wines, understanding how they were made and inspiring us with his passion. If you enjoy wines and discovering them, you will enjoy spending time with Peter. This is a very personal and private experience in a private home, so you will get much more out of... More

I visited here 3 years ago and thought I would come again and bring some friends. There were just the 4 of us and we had an interesting evening with good conversation and enthusiastic discussion about wine. Tapas was of a high quality and served excellently by Peter and Helen's young daughter. The wines were very good and we were... More
