Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The pagoda is interesting but even more impressive is driving up the really steep, but short, road to see the Buddhist area at the top of the nearby hill. The area is well maintained by the monks. There are a number of gold Buddha statues that are really impressive including a large reclining Buddha.
The view of the bay and the mountains at the top is spectacular.
There is a box for donations at the steps at the entrance.
Just remember to use low gear when you drive up and down the road. It's not for the faint hearted.

The Pagoda is at the nice and quiet beach, beautiful view. The pagoda is burmese style, another place to visit on koh samui while you are driving sight seeing around the island in the day time.

Not on the normal tourist trail, and always quiet. Lovely Pagoda on the southen edge of the island. Lovely views, and a tiny beach. A chance to explore the other bits of the island.

It is nice to add visiting the Laem Sor Pagoda when going to see Wat Khao Chedi. They are close to each other and when going past the Pagoda in the course of the beach, there is a nice secluded beach bar and restaurant with hammocks and solid meal and good cocktails! :)

What a find!
We went for a bit of an exploration through the local villages and roads and found this lovely temple just on the Leam Sor beach itself and off the little Leam Sor village.

We got spectacular views of the waters and the beach and best part was it was so local and authentic.

I used to love going here until the head Monk locked it up and you can't access the Temple. You can walk around the grounds but not around the temple. It's nice for a visit but the beach is dirty and it really needs a good clean.

We were told there was not a lot to do at Laem Sor, well 4 hours later and having seen some stunning sites and ate some lovely ice cream we drove away with peace in our hearts and fantastic memories

This is a small temple on the south of the island,it is possible to look around the temple, but it is small, the main point of the temple is the view of the sea and the location,It is never busy,so it is nice to relax there,There are many stray dogs that are very friendly,so it is nice to take the time to give them something to eat
