Not large, but very good exhibitions of chi but and Mochica culture, pre Inca, with nice timelines and exhibits showing differences in the artifacts over time. Nice mummified exhibit, many pots and artifacts. Close to Lambayeque center park and old city. Well worth the stop....More

This museum holds large collection of pre-Inca pottery and gold pieces. Pieces were collected and acquired by a German explorer, Brunning. Get a tour guide to get the most out of the collections and history. Entrance fee is 8 soles, sound $2.75 USD

Well organized museum, with a lot of learning tables and good display of pre-Inca culture relics. Definitely worth a visit while in Lambayeque or Chiclayo

After going thru the Museum Reales de Sipan, I went to this museum. Great displays, interesting scenes of various aspects of those civilizations, fishing, homelife, spinning and weaving, pottery making. Great pottery displays plus an adults only erotica section!

A very good selection of finds from Moche and Lambayeque periods in a modernist 1966 building. It would be a shame just to see the Tumbes Reales Sipan museum. While you're in Lambayeque make sure to spend an hour here to see additional excavation discoveries...More
