Was rather disappointed with size of museum just something of nothing and I would say it’s not worth the money or time to go this location.

We spent several hours in this museum absorbing all the detailed information and extensive exhibits. Very impressed with the amount and extent of items to view. Well worth a few hours of your time. Recommended

I preferred the other locations in Caerleon but the museum was nevertheless good. I shall be interested to return once the planned renovation has been completed.

Small but well displayed remains of a Roman Legion Complex - must have been quite a spectacle in its day - free entry. Whilst in town look for Roman Archaeology Museum and Roman Baths Complex.

This small Legion Museum is full of interesting finds, we were lucky to call in when it was quiet so had plenty of time to wander around. The exhibits are clearly displayed and labeled, well worth popping in.

This is a small but interesting museum exhibiting Roman artefacts, which seems – understandably – to be a popular venue for local school visits. Exhibits are laid out in a clear and simple manner, and it’s worth popping into if you’re interested in the history...More

Yes although a donation box is by the front door, this helps to keep them going.
