I had my wedding ceremony Here, I was able to rent the area for a low refundable deposit. Made for great pictures, and a unique memorial location.

After ever so many trips through Tilton to go to the Cumberland Farms for gas or iced coffee, you can't help but see the Tilton Arch. So this past Sunday I decided to go see what it is all about and why is it located in Tilton on a hill overlooking the town and the bed in the river running... More

If you enjoy a small walk and enjoy seeing a local icon monument, this is the one to see. Great view from the top of the hill

The Tilton arch is a hidden gem! It's the perfect spot for a picnic, or sitting on the hill and looking out at the view. The first time we went was in early fall, when the leaves were first starting to turn, but it is also beautiful in the spring. Bring a Frisbee or ball to play catch, and grab... More

The Memorial Arch is 50 ft high and is massive, constructed of NH gray granite. Beneath the Arch is a pink granite sarcophagus surmounted by a starving lion. Charles Tilton ordered both to be constructed for , well, himself. It is directly opposite the small Winnepesaukee River from his hilltop mansard mansion now part of Tilton School. For reasons unknown,... More

I've lived in central NH my whole life and just recently went to the Tilton Arch for the first time! My family went up to take some pictures and it was so beautiful. Being fall we didn't know what to expect the landscape to be like and although it was past peak, it was still beautiful. The grass was still... More

Took a hike up to the arch instead of driving to it . Not a far hike from the Tilton Inn you can even see it from the 2nd floor Balcony. Overlooked the mountains and had some picnic tables with grills. Wish we would of known this and weather was warmer we would of made plans to have lunch here... More

Beautiful arch, perched high on the hill overlooking the town of Tilton. Picnic tables, dirt parking area, no cost to visit. The driveway is located between 11 and 21 Summer Steet in Northfield. It is right next to the Arch Hill Cemetery. There is a very small sign, which is easily missed. Don't follow directions to Memorial Drive, unless you... More

Really cool piece of architecture but no information about it. Beautiful grounds to have a picnic. Signage to find it could be better.

So many people see the Arch from 93 and want to get a closer look. This has always been a favorite place for all who have grown up in the area.
