My husband and I wanted to visit a vineyard that made one of our favorite wines, Tintillia from Molise. I emailed Campi Valerio and made an appointment for a tour... We saw some grapes growing, how they bottle the different wines, and the storage and machinery..It was so interesting, we learned so much...Dominica was a great guide and spoke perfect English. Then, we had lunch at the cantina. What a lunch!!!!! We started with a zucchini and eggplant terrine, then raviolis that were homemade and delicious....Also we ordered an Italian sausage wrapped in a puff pastry.. Fabulous...We matched different wines with each course..Take the time and privilege to indulge in a wonderful lunch after seeing how all the wines are made You can buy their wines and they also make a delicious extra virgin olive oil...There is no pressure to buy, but you will want the reasonable products. Make an afternoon of it to a special place and lovely people....…
