A lovely venue in an old type Mansion.
Excellent for parties and small dances and meetings.There is also a complete workshop for clock repair classes. Yoga and dance classes are also available and other activities. Easily hire for functions.
Given to the people of Caterham and well used by them. Easy parking nearby and very close to a station and shops.

Very nice and helpful people but shame not open longer hours but thank you Soper Hallfor allowing me to leave my leaflets for my brandom new Froglands Purrfection Cattery opened in 2017

This is a great venue for all occasions. From weddings to yoga to line dancing. You name it you can have it there. Centrally located with plenty of parking.

This is a communal hall they have council meetings there for public involvement also antique fairs and valuations.quite often with stars of t.v antique shows.

I pop every so often when there is an art exhibition nice to browse round and look at local artists work, ideally before shopping morrisons as we use their car park then walk down .

I booked the hall as it was close to my mum. I booked it for my mums 50th surprise party. The hall itself was nice and suited what we needed.
I had the main hall. You shared the small kitchen with the conference hall so if there is another party going on you could be sharing space.
The women's toilets were quite a bit of a walk away. The men's toilet was disgusting. The smell coming from it was awful.
The communication with the hall was awful too. I had to keep chasing Beverley for answers. Doesn't bode well when you have to chase the venue to send over the invoice and then for the codes to access the place.

Hi - I know this post is 3 years old but we would like to assure everyone that we now have a new website where you can book the halls online and shortly will be able to make payments online too. We also have employed an Office Manager and a Caretaker and have also installed additional disabled facilities and we will be undertaking a complete refurbishment of both the ladies and men's down stairs toilets this year. We will also be moving the ladies to a more easily accessible location.

I have attended various craft fairs, art association meetings,and exercise classes there. It has a sprung dance floor. 2 halls and a small kitchen on the ground floor. I love the building and hope that they manage to keep it going. It has a lot of history to it, and it is beautiful. Edwardian/arts and crafts.

Great venue for events and meetings, really convenient, clean and well located. Run by the community so you are also doing your bit to support local enterprise - it is tatty in places but that adds to its Edwardian/Victorian? Charm

In the past four years we have made many improvements to the building including additional disabled facilities.
