Wonderful

Fairly good interpretation boards but would have like a bit more detail - well worth the walk to see prehistory spanning several centuries.

Incredible to think that this could have been built so long ago. It stands in a lovely meadow overlooking the ocean

I walked the Coast Path around St Mary`s. There are so much to see everywhere on this beautiful island. But I had a long stop at Halangy and Bant`s Carn. Halangy ancient village is a very interesting place. And so peaceful and beautiful. Bant`s Carn is one of at least 80 Entrance Graves at the Isles of Scilly.

excellent ruins and great views from the hilltop. good family place as several families were there enjoying a picnic when we visited. directions to get there weren't the greatest, we thought, but we did find it. two good interpretive signs.

One of the best preserved pre-historic sites that I have seen. Well signed and explained with an understandable layout.

Lovely laid out ancient village foundations and Bant's Carn is interesting too. The boys...(4 and 2 ) loved it and the views are great. Surprised to see all the dog poo and cars driven there now but nowt stands still.

We parked near the telegraph tower and made the hike down to the sites...about a 15-20 min hikes, Not too steep or rugged til you get to the village, then it is pretty steep to get down to it. Was just unbelievable to be there ...still so evident what rooms/houses were where. Just remarkable to be standing "in" such ancient... More

Very interesting historical site pertaining to the island's history. Extremely well laid out and maintained. Perfect spot to pause and wander round whilst walking round St Mary's.
