So many possibilies of what went on here, the local community council and heritage council are doing research on what went on and there are many stories from locals about what they saw and heard about over the years

The Kilfinane Motte is accessible by walking through a field and trying to avoid all the teenagers hanging out there. Climbing to the top offers a nice view of the countryside.

Very close to the Ballyhoura Way, so worth a visit. Also worth looking at is the Staker Wallis story in the main square.
