After a nice 5 mn drive from the village of Saint-Emilion, in a World Heritage scenery and along some Grands Crus Classes of the appellation, you will arrive at our winery. Our family has been making wine here for 300 years. You will enjoy a tour of the cellars, where you will learn secrets of wine-making, and a free tasting of few vintages of our two Grand Cru organic wines. Open all year round by appointment.

I'm not a big fan of Bordeaux in general, but Bernateau produce some excellent wines in the St-Emilion appellation that are really well balanced and not to austere. They just converted to organic, and the staff is super-friendly. I strongly recommend it.More
