- andycoldhamCrawley, United Kingdom1,014 contributionsWorth a visitWe stopped at the bay as part of our Island tour. The time was about 4 pm just as the local fishing boats were coming in. It was interesting to walk down the pier to see them landing their catches and the gish being gutted on the beach side. The unused bits are tossed back into the sea, and numerous rays are aware of this and come very close into the beach area for a tasty treat. A lovely way to spend an hour or so, and then drive up the hill to the pub overlooking the pub for some fantastic views.Visited April 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 20 April 2024
- Ana DeonarineTrinidad and Tobago6 contributionsPretty Fishing VillagePretty fishing village with a beautiful golden sand bay. Watch fishermen bring in their catch. The view from the lookout point is breathtaking or take a walk along the pier on the beach.Visited July 2024Travelled with familyWritten 5 July 2024
- Madeleine CGrantham, United Kingdom54 contributionsOne of my favourite spots in the worldWhat a special place. A truly stunning view as you drive down, perhaps stopping at Glasgow Bar along the way. The beach itself is gorgeous. We would have loved to snorkel but it was a little to strong a current for our young children, plenty of adults were clearly enjoying it though. The little shop nearby is extremely useful, had lovey ice cream tubs (nutmeg flavour!) and lots of different snacks so you could easily plan a relaxed beach trip here and not get thirsty or hungry! We experienced the Sting Rays that visit to help clean up after the fisherman have prepped their catch. Wow. So glad we made the trip to see it and friendly local guide Junior encouraged us to go and stand with them so we got extremely close! People are so friendly in Tobago. We looked at little lost so a gentleman named “Belly” stopped to help us and chat to us. We worked out he was friends with the manager of our villa (shout out to Jango!) and then he told us his father is the legend that is Darlington Chance so we were then able to arrange a jungle tour with Darlington later in our stay. Belly also advised us on the sea and when it would get better for the kids and told us when to come back to see the sting rays. Another plus is heading over to the waterfall located a short walk away. Probably my favourite of the waterfalls we visited. You can see many beautiful birds along the short walk if you stay quiet and look closely. Overall, if I could pick my dream location to live anywhere in the world it would probably be overlooking Parlatuvier Bay. A little piece of paradise.Visited March 2024Travelled with familyWritten 6 September 2024

It’s not a bay for swimming (at least not for us) but we were lucky to arrive at the time of a fisherman’s landing.

This beach is very much like a postcard. The water was calm and the beach was peaceful. The drive was a bit long from Bon Accord, but definitely worth it.

I went with my folks in this trip as they never went in this side if the island. The view from the lookout is absolutely amazing and beautiful. Its great for taking photos. The beach itself is quiet and serene. Very captivating. The water is blue, clean and calm.

While on tour my patented and I stopped at the top of the bay. Very scenic Beautiful sights. Beautiful beach. Great photo ops. We also made a trek To the Parlatuvier Waterfalls. It was a fairly easy hike along the streams towards the falls. Something to definitely check out while you’re in the area.

This is a town beach. There are very nice guest houses around. If you want to be 'away from the crowd' and enjoy the tropics, then visit here.

This is just another picture perfect bay in Tobago. With it's horseshoe sandy beach line, with some bright coloured dwellings in between the palm trees and a village set on the green hill behind and it's blue sea,it is a lovely bay.Snorkeling again is best by boat.

From the overlook north of Englishman's Bay, to the beach itself, this is another beautiful stop, whether for a short visit or a day long relax. There is a long dock, and you can watch whatever is happening.
