This was the secuond time I had wonderfull day tip with Mountain Towers Tourism The company specialises in expert-led cultural in Oman. Group numbers are small, accommodation comfortable and food excellent. The expert guide who accompanied us was outstanding - passionate, informative, engaging and entertaining. The itinerary was very well thought out, starting by visiting Nizwa old town and tradional market then we drove up to Jabal Alkahdar.
The client is obviously at the heart of the itinerary planning, and attention to detail is second to none. I would highly recommend this company to anyone wanting a fun, relaxed, educational holiday.

I can highly recommend the helpfulness of Mr.Aljabri who helped us with great recommendations for our journey. I found Mr.Aljabri when I was looking for a private tour in Wadi Tiwi for our family. As we had our own car and wanted to do the tour not from Muscat but directly from Tiwi, Mr.Aljabri said that it does not make sense for us to pay somebody like him who comes from Muscat and he recommended us to an excellent local guide in Tiwi. Giving away a potential job and recommending us to a more economic solution shows a special form of friendliness and helpfulness. Mr. Aljabri also recommended us a local restaurant in Sur right on the beach that had excellent local fish and great other dishes. We would have never found this great place without his advice. Mountain Towers Tourism and Mr.Aljabri will be our first point of contact when we return to Oman and look for a competent and helpful guide. Thank you Mr.Aljabri!

I highly recommend MTT for tours around Oman. The team were professional, courteous and kind from the start. They created a tailored programme for us and catered to all our personal needs.
We were toured by both Amad and Ibrahim and visited Wadi Shab, Bimmah sinkhole, Nizwa, Jabal Akhdar and completed a tour of Muscat.
Wadi Shab was an incredible experience and definitely not to be missed. It is such a unique place and our tour guide Amad was very patient with us (it includes a bit of a walk) and he was extremely polite and professional. The car was very comfortable and he allowed us to take breaks to get beverages/food. He provided us with lots of information on the Wadi and in general the fascinating nature Oman has to offer.
In Nizwa we were toured by Ibrahim who took us to the city of Nizwa, the Nizwa fort and the market. He introduced us to many Omani delicacies including dates, coffee and halwa and were able to try them all and purchase some. He helped us in negotiating prices and in selecting the best quality products from locals! We had a great time and the fort was a really great experience and a very unique place - the fort is located exactly in the middle of the city and is surrounded by mountains all around. Ibrahim gave us lots of background information on the city and fort and guided us within the fort, explaining in detail all the rooms and their function. It was a very informative and interesting experience and he made it very engaging and enjoyable.
Jabal Akhdar was also incredible and definitely a place I would love to go back to and spend more time. Ibrahim took us to all the viewpoints he knows which offered breathtaking views of the mountains.
The tour of Muscat was also conducted by Ibrahim who took us to the old town, muttrah fort and souq as well as the Sultans previous palace. The tour was very well organised, timed and succinct. We thoroughly enjoyed listening to the history of Muscat and Ibrahim was very well informed and engaging. He was also able to take us to the shopping district (Al Seeb) upon request and was very patient with us as we took time to buy personal items and gifts for friends/family. He really catered to what we wanted and was very flexible in the plan which made us feel as though we were travelling with a friend! He was extremely generous, hospitable and kind. We would like to thank him greatly for an incredible experience and trip and we hope to come back as soon as we can to continue exploring the beauty of Oman and we will definitely be booking with MTT again.

We were lucky enough to have another amazing trip with Nasser. This time to beautiful Wakan Village. Nasser entertained us with stories and facts about the Omani culture and showed us places we would never know even existed. A highly enjoyable day!

Every tour with Nasser and Mountain Towers Tourism is eventful, even if it is a random midweek get away hike from the city.
Customised to each participants' interests and fitness level, the tours go beyond the norm and great care is taken to ensure that every member is comfortable and safe.
The tour to Wakan Village was a wonderful breath of fresh air and a great view. In addition, new friendships were formed.

Nasser is not only a professional guide in Oman, who passionately shares all the details about the country but also an excellent storyteller, and photographer. A wonderful choice for those wanting a deeper understanding of Omani life, interpersonal relationships, business nuances, and historical details. Throughout all 5 days of travel, Nasser was attentive to every detail, often surprising and creatively resolving unexpected situations. Highly recommended!

I found Mountain Towers Tourism on an Instagram advert, I booked a couple of day trips with Nasser prior to arriving to Oman. Once we arrived to Oman we began our trips, and they have been nothing short of wonderful, I extended our trips for a few more days, Our package included the Muscat day tour, Dolphin watching, Nizwa/ Jebel Al Akdar as well as Wadi/ Bimmah sink hole, our tour guide through this trip was Said, he is knowledgeable, and entertaining. I travelled with my 6 year old, Said ensured that we were entertained and cared for during the trips, with stop overs at supermarkets, restaurants, washrooms and also assisted with carrying my son around. We had an amazing time around Oman, thanks to Said and I highly recommend both him and Mountain Towers Tourism.

We went around Oman with Nasse & Ibrahim from Mountain Towern Tourism for a week, on a route they planned that went from Muscat to the mountains, on to the desert and to several wadis. During the car journeys, they told us everything we wanted to know about the country, the culture and the things we passed. The cars were big comfortable Landcruises and they drove confidently, even on steep downhills and uphills. I can really recommend them if you want a content-rich and pleasant tour in Oman!

He took us on an unforgettable tour of Nisua and the picturesque village of Birkat Al Muez, sharing his knowledge of Oman’s history and culture along the way. Nasser’s passion for his country made the tour even more special, and his friendly and professional approach made us feel like we were exploring with a local friend.
Nizza, with its magnificent fortress and its vibrant Point of Sale, came to life thanks to Nasser’s detailed explanations, and the beauty of Bircat Al Mouse, with its ancient irrigation system and palm plantations, was simply enchanting. In addition, he introduced us to an excellent restaurant where we had an authentic and delicious meal that we will never forget.
Nasser did everything to make sure we had an unforgettable experience. If you are visiting Oman, I highly recommend taking a tour with him – it will be the culmination of your trip!
