Take a 30 minute tour around this old house. Look up and see the ceilings and enjoy the beautiful inner courtyard. Imagine living there without aircon and connectivity. A little gem of a house which has survived in old Muscat City.

This place is pretty uninteresting to most travellers, unless you are French and have a particular interest to the history of Oman-France relations. Not many exhibits, but the house itself is attractive, but definitely not worth the 1 bhd entrance fee.

Nice small fountain in the front entrance is good as well come. Many items of Omani - French relations are stored gives glimpses of history & friendship of two countries. Worth spending 2 hrs in controlled climatic condition.
