This mosque is relatively new, so very few people know abiut it i guess, but it has beautiful architecture and is built on a height, so has nice views of the city from the exterior courtyard.

I go there every week for Friday prayers. A very beautiful mosque indeed. Only one thing is not good, there are no markings for prayers. The lines made are not straight when everyone stands for congregation prayers.

All the mosques in Muscat are so beautiful. Sultan Al Qaboos mosque is the prettiest but this one is charming too. Looks really beautiful with lights in the night, provides the most amazing view.

Poised on a hill, with golden domes overlooking the city. Spectacular architecture. Be sure to spend time at this lesser known Mosque.

Very fine mosque, not on the scale of Sultan Qaboos but well worth a visit. Very beautiful at night.

Mohammed Al Ameen mosque was completed in 2014 - my favourite mosque in Oman at night, its golden domes and azure blue building making it stand out against the night sky - breathtaking.

Hi, yes the mosque is open to non muslims. You just have to bring your own suitable clothes, as they don't rent any. I went there in the morning, not sure what the official opening timings are. But you should be good to go... More
