Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

As name suggests- its the India Nepal border.
At one side of road, its India, on other side its Nepal! The tea/snack stalls are in Nepal side.
It lies on way to Darjeeling from Mirik.

It lies on the way to Mirik. It is a beautiful view point to see India Nepal border. You must stop here to have a cup of tea with Maggi. You can view the town of Maneybhanjan, which is a starting point for the trek to Sandakphu. You can spend 30 to 45 minutes and breath fresh air.So don't forget to visit India Nepal SIMANA.

This place falls on the way while visiting the more popular Mirik Lake and Pashupati market. It offers good views of the opposite mountains and valleys down below. The famous village of Maneybhanjan (which is the starting point for Sandakphu trek) and the walikgn trail to sandakphu can be seen clearly from here. There isn't a lot to do here, but there are a few small eateries and its a good photo stop for a 15-30 minutes break.

I was on my way from Gangtok to Mirik and crossed this lovely place, stopped for a while to stretch my legs, views were good but it was dark to take some good shots. My mobile phone also showed me in Nepal's network area.

This spot is en route Siliguri to Darjeeling via Mirik. You can have a breath taking view of the mountains. On a clear day, glimpses of Kanchanjhangha is also available. One can relax for a while and enjoy the beautiful view with a cup of tea from the shops around.

Nice place to spend a few hours. Its on the way from Mirik to Darjeeling. There are nepali ladies selling small items such as chocolate, tea and momo etc. You can see nepal hills from here. The chocolates are mostly chinese and of low quality but the view is definitely high quality.

We went there to see Mt. Kanchenjunga. But somehow, there were clouds. Thought the sky was clear. We being the lover trekking nook and corners of the Himalaya went there to see the trek route to Sandakphu, Falut. The deep gorge, the stiff terrains of the Himalaya, the dense forests and of course the Nepal Himalaya make our each and every moments thrilling.
The local women sell souvenirs, chocolates, biscuits etc.
It is said that in a clear day the view of Mt Kanchenjunga creates a spell.
