We were short on time and chose to do the 3.5 hour morning kayak and snorkel. We had been to this bay on a previous trip, but had not kayaked there. I HIGHLY recommed it. The water and coral are both unbelievably beautiful and teeming with fish. The guides were highly skilled and took extra time to help a very inexperienced... More

My family did both the Manta Ray night snorkel and the Captain Cook snorkel with Brian. We had a great time on both of the trips! Lots of cool fish, crystal clear water, and many dolphins during the snorkel. The Manta Ray experience was truly one of a kind - beautiful dancing creatures, highly recommended. Brian was an excellent guide... More

An easy kayaking and great snorkeling experience. Brian was very nice and provided good historical background. Kayaking was great fun, especially watching dolphins playing around.. Best snorkel spot I've been to - it's like snorkeling in an aquarium with all sorts of small and bigger fish, we even sighted a reef shark! Thanks Brian for an incredible experience!

We had a really fun time kayaking and snorkeling with the Aloha Kayak folks. We were a family of 4--2 adults, 2 teenagers and it was great for all of us. I contacted them in advance to make a reservation (their website is good) and we had to make some changes (our plans, not their fault) which they were happy... More

We did the Keakekua Bay kayak/snorkel with Brian and Jamal and the Manta Ray night kayak snorkel with Brian and Will. Both were great experiences and our guides were knowledgeable, helpful and (most importantly) fun. Would recommend both as a great way to experience the vibrant marine life of the Big Island.

In some places swimming with the mantas is listed as one of 10 things you must do this lifetime. Maybe a bit much, but not extremely so IMHO. Our family of 4 fairly inexperienced kayakers did the nightime outing with Aloha. It was a busy night with about a dozen choosing to go, but Aloha had plenty of equipment including... More

This was a 3-4 hour kayak and snorkel tour and we had the best time with our guides, Brian & Jamal. The snorkel site was one of the best with tons of colorful fish. Brian & Jamal kept things interesting with their narratives of the Hawaiian history & culture. They took good care of all of us on the tour... More

Before coming to Kona, I read that the place to snorkel was Kealakekua Bay. We contemplated taking a boat but decided we wanted to get some exercise, so we thought kayaking sounded like a good option. We were referred to Aloha Kayaks by our condo concierge and we are so glad. Our tour guide, Brian, was wonderful. He gave us... More
