This was a seriously complete temple and we could easily see how it was built and used. Superb, a must amongst the several temples

This is an experience I will never forget, and I take my hat off to the dedicated people who have worked so diligently to restore these temples to somewhere near their former glory. The views from the top of the hill are stunning, and the...More

Much like the Temple at Segesta the Temple della Concordia looks like one of the better preserved ruins. Many of the temples have lost much of their structure but with Concordia it still looks like a Temple with columns about 20ft high and this helps...More

It is worth the 1 mile walk in the Valley of Temples. The walk is very easy downhill. The temple is well preserved and maintained.

This was the highlight for us. This is one of the best preserved temples in the world with a total of 34 Doric columns it was restored to its original form in 1748.

Everyone I saw at the temple said it was better than Greece. Haven’t been to Greece so can’t comment, but it was in very good condition.

This temple wasn't destroyed because it was used by the Christians as a place of worship. The vistas from where it stands are breathtaking!

Among the five temples this one is the best preserved. Great history and walking adventure. Not to be missed.

You really do get the sense of past times at this place. There is a cafe and ice cream vendor there. Not sure what the Greco/Romans would have made of that. There is a shuttle bus going fron end to end if you get knackered...More

Roman temple with Doric columns and in a great state of repair. Sits pretty much in the centre of the site and forms the sort of corner-stone of the various ruins on the site. There is a currently a set of video screens showing an...More

WE were also visiting this wonderful site on our own, at our own pace, and actually you do not need a guided tour.
