Well worth the visit particularly if you have visited the valley of the temples. We caught the local bus out there and the hop on hop off bus back. Easy

Interesting visit to the museum after the walk in the valley. The giant column on display is worth the visit.

I visited recently with friends and took the part in the walking tour – It’s a MUST see! Our guide was brilliant with mounds of knowledge. We visited at sunset and got some beautiful photos. Wear appropriate shoes, theres lots of hills/steps/tracks routes to walk

As a afterthought we decided to walk the museum and were glad we did. Artifacts from many eras with some placards with good information. Note: some of the pieces did not have english translation which was somewhat of a disappointment.
