This was a very neat place to see, The sea make something very unique. This was a medium walk on the beach and walk around a fence to get on the point and walk around on it and take pictures of to cliffs.

Very interesting geology and spectacular sight. We had to park about a mile away and walk along the seashore to get to the base of the cliffs. Pretend you were a pirate anchored offshore over 2000 years ago.

If you are visiting the ruins in Agrigento be sure to drive the short distance to see these amazing cliffs. It is a bit of a hike down from the parking area but well worth it

The ruins are only being worked on now. Still it's of interest to see how the workers are considering how to proceed. Either way, drive down to the beach and have a terrific lunch in a fascinating location

Don't be hoodwinked by some of the photos you see of the Greek theatre. It is now completely covered and unphotographable, and the remaining ruins are of no interest to all but specialists. Some nice views of the coast, but this is Sicily and such...More
