Fabulous small museum absolutely stuffed with treasures. The neolithic artifacts are amazing. Jump off the bus, cross the parking lot and head for the church, walk through the small passageway into a courtyard. The museum entrance is across the courtyard. Ongoing excavations in the field...More

I really liked the Greek and Roman pottery and several other exhibits. There's a very good collection of coins.

I really liked this museum, they had a large variety of artifacts and different pieces. It really enhanced my experience in Agrigento.

This museum contains a number of beautiful objects ranging from pottery to stone sculptures. It contains a model of the Temple of Zeus, showing the placement of the massive Telemones which are small in comparison to the hugeness of the Temple!

Though the Cathedral Church in Agrigento is "under construction", it is possible to full fill Your history hunger in the Museo Diocesano di Agrigento. Rarely religious museums have such clear and involving exposition. We watched with pleasure some very attractive old paintings and altar treasures....More
