About
We are young winemakers with ancient vineyards... The great passion of Roberto for the cultivation of wineyards, and Alessandro for the production of wine have allowed the birth of this small cellar. From the top of the hill of Altavilla you can taste our wines and enjoy the marvellous view of the Langhe. Visits and winetastings are held only by appointment. See you soon!

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Thank you so much for a very enjoyable and informative afternoon, Jessica, and for letting us stay a little longer to take in the amazing views from your vineyards. A perfect introduction to the wines of the region.

We absolutely loved this winery. The tour and the tasting was wonderful. We love to support small family wineries who have a passion for their wine.

Extremely interesting and entertaining tour through the vineyards to learn more about the history and processes of the piedmontese vines.
Delicious degustation paired with local products.
We were welcomed very warmly by the owners and were even offered a ride back to alba! Very much worth the visit!

Generous pours, fantastic wines, fabulous tour. The gracious -and knowledgeable- hosts gave us a great experience. They allowed us to take our time with questions, tastings, and general merriment. Five stars all around!

Our first stop on a eight day tour of the Piedmont was at Abellonio Cascina Piccaluga
Jessica, who is a member of this small family winery, offered a informative and entertaining tour of the vineyards, the production area and the cellars.
Expressed was their passion and dedication to producing the fine wine which we enjoyed during our visit. The tasting was accompanied by a tasty cheese and charcuterie offering. I would highly recommend a visit here!

We started off getting denied from our original Vineyard location. We luckily found Casinca Piccaluga last minute and they were able to host us, they even waited 40 min for us to arrive when the tour began at 4pm.
Upon arrival, the tour before us had just finished and we were greeted with open arms. We waited a few minutes to be hosted by Feredica ( a young lady who did an exceptional job with the tour and answering our questions). Once the tour finished the wine tasting began. We were hosted by both federica and Jessica (the owner). The wines and explanations were spectacular. Everything so delicious.
After our 6 wine tastings were over, we continued to talk with Jessica where she gave us an extra tasting along with trying a delicious dessert, Artisan Nutella.
Overall, if we could we would’ve done the tour again the next day. We recommend this amazing family own vineyard to anyone near Turino, Alba, Carmagnola or any surrounding cities near Alba.
Thank you to the Host and we hope to be back soon.
