Loved Alba
Aug 2021 • Family
I really loved the town of Alba. Every street is beautiful and there are many places to see, eat and buy regional products. The cathedral is worth a visit.

Centre for Barolo, Barbaresco and truffles
Jul 2020
This town is an ideal place for both exploring the Barolo and Barbaresco areas, as well as walk between many wine shops. Plenty of nice bars and restaurants where you can enjoy their lovely local food – and don’t forget, Alba is the truffle center.

Nice stay
Dec 2019 • Family
One day visit. Milan as compared to other Italian cities is very clean and full of interesting places to visit; it's very crowded and it's difficult to find an iconic place where to have lunch without spending a future. On the contrary, it's full of coffee shops or fasrt food places therefore mine is a simple opinion which doesn't affect my good opinion towards this very posh European city.

Quaint but not much there
Nov 2019
Alba is known for white truffles and Borolo wine. Town centre has some cute streets with shops and foody places. The main square where the duomo is seems to be the centre of action. It comes alive in Nov. with the truffle festival. Many AirBnB in this area. Day trips from here will take you to castles, churches and wineries. Countryside is lovely.

This is located in the center of town and is the quintessential place to visit. We were here on a Saturday (market day) and the town was full of both vendors and people. Worth a visit!

unexpected but beautiful town with historical centre
Sep 2019
You could best describe this town as a ring, and it is best to park your car out-side this ring. The town itself - regardless from which side - opens interesting perspective, wonderful old buldings, explanation of history. Especially on a market day it is in incredible lively. A very big pedestrian walk + market places complete this picture.

Small town known for white truffles
Sep 2019
Typical Italian small town known for its annual white truffle auctions. It is also known for its restaurants. There are several shops to buy truffles related products.

Everything a small Italian town should be
Sep 2019
We were much taken by Alba's Centro Storico on a number of visits we made when staying near Asti. In fact we much preferred it to Asti! It is a joy to stroll around with many pedestrianised streets, an excellent central piazza, a superb Duomo, some very interesting smaller churches, and lots of cafes and restaurants. Lots of noisy locals and happy tourists made for great people watching. If you're staying anywhere near Alba you should most assuredly pay the old historical centre a visit.

Uninteresting
Aug 2019 • Business
There are hundred of piazzas in Italy that are more interesting. The duomo was unimpressed and rarely open and the rest of the building not of particular relevance. There are plenty of small arquitectual details and the view of the medieval towers is fantastic. Great archeological remains that require a ticket
