Have visited many places around on a rented car-such as Nemi , Castel Gondollo, Sperlonga, Gaeta etc... Nice beaches around the town. I would give a 4+. When we were fed up with heat in Rome, we were looking for a day on the beach, we ask local lady in the hotel that we stayed where to go and this was one of the places that she recommended away from the crowd. It's about an hour drive by train and 10 minutes walk. We ended up on Fanciulla D'Anzio beach, the further side is free most locals goes there, we took chair and umbrella for 20 Euros for the whole day. The water is crystal clear. This is nice place to spent hot day away from Rome, beer is cheap 1 euro fro 0.6L Moretty, damn, way cheaper than Rome, food is cheap too on the beach. We did not do much of attraction there, but we saw Villa Imperiale right on this beach. …
