It is two generations since our family committed itself to truffles, at first as truffle hunters, then in a more organized and professional way, building a family-run agricultural business in order to improve and commercialize the sale of truffles. Our truffles are grown in Tuscany, which is well known around the world for its beautiful countryside as well as its wine and food products. Thanks to the truffle farming and the knowledge of the best truffle production areas, Villa Magna farm can guarantee the sale of fresh truffles all year long, with the possibility of organic certification, as well as a selection of conserved products. With the experience and professionalism earned through the years we have launched a new form of rural tourism, accompanying those who are interested in learning the secrets of truffle hunting to an expedition along with our dogs (Lula, Rambo, Luna, Dora); thus the tartufiturismo was born. You can share and enjoy with us an exclusive tour around the Arezzo, Siena, Florence hills hunting for truffle. Also, possibility to arrange a truffle tasting, a lunch or dinner in a local restaurant.

My husband and I had such an amazing time on this truffle tour with Marco. He was an amazing guide with so much information. He truly is a master at what he does and all the knowledge he has about truffles. Maya, one his truffle dogs was the star of the show! She was able to find us 6 truffles within the time we were searching.
We chose the appetizer and tour. It was such a treat to try some of their delicious truffles on bruschetta. You will not want to leave without buying some for home!

This was our favorite day on vacation in Florence! Marco and his family are wonderful and you learn so much. Marco and his dogs are also great with kids, as we bought our 6 year old who also had a blast! Wear comfy walking shoes!

Very pleasant and instructive walk in the woods to pick up black truffles.
Our 10 year old son followed Katy, our little truffle digger dog everywhere to find 9 truffles in the morning. The lunch that followed the walk was delicious

My wife and I had the most wonderful morning with Lula the excellent truffle hunting dog & Federica, our patient, informative, fun hunter. We got to see Lula in practice uncovering 9 black summer truffles! It was very exciting. We would love to come back the next time we are in Tuscany! A Must Try activity.

Great experience, Marco, the owner and tour guide is the most kind and best guide you can wish for! Absolutely recommend this experience, which is very unique and amazing to do! Marco will go beyond to get you a great time, and his family prepares you the best food, freshly on the spot! The dogs are the sweetest and it's very interesting to see them at work!! You'll definitely be impressed! It was a once in a lifetime moment for us, thank you so much again Marco!

We booked a tour/ hunt through our hotels recommendation. It did not disappoint!
Marco was incredible to spend the morning/ early afternoon with. He and his team were extremely welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable.
We had a ton of fun and the hunt was very successful. Marco shared a ton information about truffle hunting and it was so exciting to learn from him. After being in the woods we came back and had a nice lunch with all things truffle that they had prepared, accompanied by homemade wine and olive oil. It was all delicious! We ended up buying a number of truffle goods to bring back home for family and friends; oil, honey, and a variety pack (amongst other things), it was all so good!
We had a Great time and would highly recommend you check out this cool and different experience.

A wonderful unique experience if you are in Tuscany. Marco loves his work and clearly is passionate about truffle hunting. Our family of six (4 kids aged 4 to 15) thoroughly enjoyed this fantastic experience. The dogs are so lovely and well trained. The forrest is a gift to the people and visitors so we may appreciate this beautiful culture!

We really enjoyed our truffle experience - Marco and his team (including Katy and Lula the expert truffle finding dogs) were all amazing. Very friendly (dogs and humans alike!) and taught us a lot about the truffle hunting job and what might happen in the future. Thank-you again!

I had such a fantastic experience the first time, I took another group for a second visit. Marco is a fantastic hunter and guide. We learned a lot about truffles and truffle hunting. The food and wine were amazing. Marco is a fantastic host and his English is very good. We also loved the interaction with the dogs. It’s a great experience for groups and families. I would do this again.

Hi - when are the tours offered? Is it seasonal? We will be there in early July, but I am not sure that is great truffle hunting time or not.
