Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Although the old church is very small as it stands next to the new one and from the outside the new much larger church looks magnificent in comparison, please do not overlook the old church. Have a visit inside. Full of jaw dropping delights at every turn. What it lacks in looks from the outside, the inside certainly makes up for it.

We recently had the pleasure to visit Berscia and to this wonderful Piazza with its Beautiful churches. You may visit these churches each day and the round one is one of just two in Italy. You will see many different architectural styles in one church, from Florentine to Byzantine to baroque styles. If you have time also visit the old Pallace just near by. The Plazza is also very romantic at night, it has many very nice restos just near the plaza. Very nice...go and see

Piazza Duomo as it is called by locals is a magic place soon the sun goes down.
It feel quickly with people form every corner, the piazza is full of nice bars and restaurants.
The atmosphere is quite young and vibrant. Lovely contrast between old (the buildings) and new (restaurants and bars).
Must visit!!

Another day off from skiing (the joy of 10 day's!) we thought we would explore Brescia, I am glad we did as it is a charming place.
There are many piazza around the town but this one is special. There are two duomi the oldest dating back to the xi century joined with the 'newer' one. Free to enter (one can donate to the on going renovations) it is very interesting with so many centuries of history to descover.

Love this square! From here every sight in Brescia is walkable. Good starting point to explore this amazing town. Start your tour from this square (Duomo Vecchio is located right here) and end up on top of the castle for a nice panoramic view over the city

The new duomo is great, the old duomo next door is underground and better. Beware of Zona Traffico Limitato fines that will show up months later on your credit card.

Exceptional. astonishing piazza, where an old (about 12 century) and "new" (around 17th century I think) are located side by side on the same piazza.

What an amazing sight in Brescia. One of the top locations in the city with the Duomo Vecchio and Catedral. You should be visiting both of them and enjoy every moment.

Piazza Paolo VI, or Piazza del Duomo, is one of the main squares of Brescia.
It was known as Piazza del Duomo, due to the presence of the two city domes, the old Duomo and the new Duomo, it was named after Pope Paul VI, after his death.
The origin of the square is medieval, as well as some palaces that overlook it, one of which is Palazzo Broletto, which today also includes the civic tower and the loggia delle Grida, located on the north-east side of the square and dating back to the thirteenth century, it is considered the oldest public building in Brescia.
