Easy access for old town to nice quiet woodland walks. Dog friendly but restricted access to cemetery applies.

War cemetery with tombs of soldiers fallen mostly during WWI (nearly 800) with a few from WWII (about 19). All part of the austro-hungarian empire, it is interesting to note the different religions all came from: catholics, protestants, orthodoxs, calvinisits and even muslim and jewish people.

It is a cemetery for war dead from WWI and WWII maintained by local volunteers with all markers being made of soft wood, thus requiring constant maintenance. The setting, within a mature forest, contributes to the feeling of reverence.
