After a climb of more than a hour you have a beautifull view at the city of Cefalu and the surroundings. It is absolutly worth the trip.

Just bring a picnic and a lot of water and go to the loo before you start out! wonderful walk , fascinating history, amazing vegetation incredible buildings AND views to die for! Take a couple of hours and do the walk justice!

you can go up this mountain quite easily to a certain height without needing trainers etc but if you want to go to the very top then you will need better than sandals which is what i had
