I had the pleasure of going on the boat ride with Italian friends who live nearby. It was our first time and the captain, Marco, was very knowledgeable and entertaining. The narrative was in Italian. The passengers were mainly Italians and many locals. However, I could understand the majority of the history and highlights being shared since I speak Italian. However, I will say that even if you don't speak Italian, the beautiful view and music made for an interesting ride. The price is extremely affordable too for a 20 to 30-minute boat ride. I look forward to returning in a couple of months with American friends to show the "Little Venice", which for me is a hidden treasure. I would recommend the boat ride for a a relaxing, yet adventurous time in Chioggia!
