A mate and I have just completed 7 days of hiking and a first introduction to via ferrata in the stunning Dolomites. To get up to speed on the area and via ferrata we were lucky enough to have the first 3 days with guide Enrico Maioni. Enrico is just a great guy - from the first evening where we... More

My first experience with a real via ferrata was fantastic thanks to Enrico Maioni. He quickly sized up our skills and desires and matched us to 3 glorious days of hiking & ferrata in the Dolomites. His knowledge of the area led us to places that were much less crowded & he shared with us the history of Cortina which... More

I told Enrico I wanted to climb some awesome lines and he helped me do exactly that! I wanted to climb Via Mariam in Cinque Torri and he took me up (glad he was leading because it was quite runout!) I then wanted to climb something a little harder so he took me up Via Finlandia which was an amazing... More

Hiking along the ferrata was the highlight of our trip to Italy this summer. Our guide Enrico was the best. We met the night before to review gear, possible routes, address any possible issues and skill levels. A few in our group were worried about the heights, Enrico was brilliant providing enough encouragement and support that it was not even... More

My husband and I climbed Ra Bujela with Enrico Maioni today. It was our first time climbing a ferrata and so we wanted a guide. Enrico was great - he explained everything thoroughly, shared his knowledge of Cortina, and made the experience the highlight of our trip.

We (father and son) had been to cortina once before and climbed the Strobel via Ferrata on our own. On this, our 2nd trip, we decided to hire a guide for 3 days so we could try lesser known and more technical/difficult Ferrata. We chose Enrico based on his reviews on Tripadvisor - and were glad that we did! Right... More

Booked a trip to Cortina De Ampezzo to do some hiking on the Ferratas . From the beginning we made contact with Enrico Maioni who explained all we needed to know. He even told us how to get to Cortina and where to stay. When we arrived and meet him in the morning he had all the gear organised. He... More

Prior to visiting Cortina, we contacted Enrico via the internet and set up a two day adventure for our family. On the first day, Enrico and his colleague Simone led our group of four up the Miriam route in the Cinque Torri. Both guides were great. Some of our party was very slow, so we had a lot of time... Did a via Ferrata with Enrico at the start of the season ensured that I had good techniques and recommended a couple of ferratas for me to do the next day. As it was early in the season there were still a lot of snow so I felt safe going with a guide. Enrico was amazing company I had a... More
