Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Dolomites are spectacular and unique, Italian pride in the world, therefore the terrible management of the Alta Badia slopes which are not groomed despite the exorbitant price of the ski pass should absolutely not be tolerated. Furthermore, extreme rudeness and presumption of the plant workers. I believe it would be necessary to assign the management of a World Heritage Site to competent and deserving people. The Canazei ski area deserves a 5-star rating for the management of the slopes.

A wonderful panoramic tour, both the green Sellaronda anti-clockwise and the orange clockwise. The only two flaws: in the green direction clockwise, reaching Corvara you have to climb a nice flight of stairs; from 1pm onwards the descents in the orange clockwise direction, the slopes become impassable due to snow drifts. With the cost of the ski pass, both problems could be solved. In this case we could define the Dolomites at high levels. Also adding a few signs as well.

So I did both versions. The green is definitely a little easier than the brown. Plenty of signs showing you where to go but do take notice because a few can be ambiguous. The one in particular to lookout for is on the green coming into selva Wolkensteon. You must go left thru the town after coming under the overpass. Have fun!

Whilst a tough 55kms and 4 mountain passes if you take your time the course is doable for any fit cyclist with a reasonable level of fitness. Don't be mislead, it is a tough day in the saddle, but the views and the experience fo doing one fo the great cycling routes is worth the effort.

Went in mid-February. Weather was great. The views are spectacular. Corvara is simply magical, can see why so many movies were filmed in this location.

The Sella Ronda cycle route encompasses the 4 famous moutain passes in the eastern Italian Dolomites - the Passo Pardoi, Passo Campolongo, Passo Gardenia & Passo Sella. If you only ever do one ride in the Italian Alps in your lifetime, this MUST be the one.
The scenery is absoultely fantastic, and with the correct climbing gearing and bicycles, the ride easily achievable for even novices. An absolute must to ride in a cyclist's lifetime...

This is an excellent day’s skiing. You can go anti clockwise which is more lifts and very easy or clockwise less lifts and a little harder, more reds. It takes in each case 3 hours in good conditions but it would be much better to take in the separate areas one or two on your way round and make a day of it. It's not difficult skiing in good conditions so nothing to worry about. There are numerous restaurants on the way round to choose from. the view from the cable car summits (there are two) are fantastic and with the short walk to reach one of them. You can ski straight off when you come back down back to the main slopes.

A classic, though not in the same league as the Vallee Blanche (Courmayeur to Chamonix). We chose the anti-clockwise circuit, a fortunate decision as, mid-morning, the clockwise route was closed for a few hours, owing to a technical fault on a telecabin. With a few exceptions, the route is well-marked, orange signs for clockwise, green for anti-clockwise. Although it's not particularly strenuous, you'll probably need to allow a full day. An early start is recommended in order to beat the lift-queues, though hold-ups are inevitable, especially at Selva. In short, I thoroughly recommend Selva Ronda for skiers of intermediate ability.
