Piccola oasi ricavata da una vecchia "draga" dove negli anni 70/80 veniva estratta la sabbia ad uso edilizio. Grande valore ornitologico e ben organizzata. Informatevi sugli orari prima di raggiungerla.

Fantastica location per osservazione ornitologica a due passi dal centro di Empoli. Questa vecchia cava, colmata di acqua, fornisce oggi un'attiva oasi naturale per uccelli stanziali e migratori. I punti di osservazione e i pannelli esplicativi vi guideranno nella visita. Consigliata una visita supportata da un esperto. Non di rado avvengono liberazioni di animali recuperati tramite centri appositi (es. CeTRAS).

bello , ci siamo imbattuti per caso in questa meraviglia della natura e consigio a tutti di sperimentare questa meraviglia Toscana. Lo rifaremo presto con scarpette da tennis a seguito per m,eglip godere i sentieri.
