If you're pressed for time don't bother stopping at this monastery. It's basically a ruin other appears that it's not on the outside. Lots of empty rooms and broken walls with a small deal. It's not worth your time.

Sadly very ruinous but they are working on it. How much they can restore is problematic, though there has been considerable work done on numerous churches here. The monastery itself is quite extensive given the town, and is interesting to see.

This Monastery is included in your ticket for the 6 prime sights of Erice and it is worth purchasing this ticket. Our Holy Saviour Monastery is now in ruins but it is interesting to wander around and imagine past life there. The building was originally...More

The visit is included in the "Five Churches" combination ticket, so why not? Just the ruins, but the signage helps to explain what actual was there in the old days. Certainly worth spending 15 minutes

Yes, they are ruins of two story monastery but not much to look at other than that. Buildings overlook the fields below of Trapani.

As a matter of fact there was nothing to see there. I have bought a ticket for 6 attractions for just 5€, so I was not very disappointed.

Don't plan on spending more than about 20 minutes here because unfortunately there's not much to see. This 13th century building was originally a residential Palace before becoming a monestary. Unfortunately there's not much left... just a few crumbling walls. Nevertheless it is an important...More
