Unfortunately most of the signage is only in Italian, but there is an excellent subtitled video early on. The range of finds is very good. There a church regalia, a room of firearms and some impressive paintings.

Gives a very nice overview of the geography and history of the Erice area, including a short and informative video (in Italian with English subtitles). Artifacts and artworks from pre-history to World War I. Nicely curated and well worth a 20-30 minute visit.

This is the municipal museum for Erice. We always go the the local museums to see what is important to the town. Not very exciting but worth an hour.

For us, the looped video explaining the more than 2000 year history of the Erice region was the most interesting part of this museum. While we acknowledge the importance of the coins, amulets and other ancient relics on display, they are not well presented and...More
