The almost complete ancient walls that circle the city are a WOW...really. After visiting the Monastero di San Antonio in Polesine we walked to via Quartieri nearby. This road took us through the Porta San Pietro to the walking path outside the walls. This section...More

A nice relaxed cycle path around ferrara passing both inside and outside the walls. Good for all ages as no real slopes.

The ancient walls of Ferrara are almost intact. The tree-lined path on top of them is a favourite place for joggers, dog-walkers and cyclists - and also for tourists wanting to stroll in the shade and get a different view of the city's rooftops
