We took a sightseeing bus to here from Taormina city. The view is nice and apparently quite popular tourist area too. We took out lunch here. Don't be regret if you do not make a plan properly as we did. There are some activities you can do here such as enjoying beach and even diving/snorkeling. Walking and enjoying the atmosphere, photography or just walk in the small town here enough to make us happy even without proper planning.

Giardini Naxos and it's beautiful bay was our first experience in Sicily. Lovely weather, relaxed style by the beach. Lots of boats, nice cafes for a lunch and then drive up to Taormina.

Very commercial

Taormina is so full of beautiful landscapes that unless you are craving being right by the sea in a very commercial area, then better enjoy the breathtaking views that wasting time at the Giardini Naxos.

Nice Harbor View

A nice long walk!

We walked to Giardini Naxos from Taormina (by the castle) which was a long walk but a lovely one, had a lovely lunch then walked back, lots of boat trips for tourists (with some jolly captains encouraging you onboard) which we would have liked to have done but it was our last day. Preferred the town of Taormina but it made a nice change to be down at the sandy beach with no steps! :-)
