Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Intact historical walls of Lazise showing the fortifications someone would have seen approaching by land from the south. An imposing structure with a gate to pass through.

Lazise is a charming village on the shores of lake Garda but we went the day of the "mercatino" when the streets were filled with street vendors and totally ruined what could have been a great experience.

My idea of a perfect lakeside town. Information for visitors on the gates or entrances through the old walls, which are attractive looking. Retains its character and charm.

A very picturesque little town surrounded on 3 sides by Medieval walls...an a lovely area onto the lake.
It was a beautiful site approaching it from the ferry.
It was extremely busy the day we were there unfortunately as it as market day... so I would suggest you check that before going.

Lazise is a lovely town with the castle and its great walls that surround it, there are lots of shops selling reasonably priced items, there are lots of restaurants and bars also.
we have just returned from this region in Italy and is a place everyone should visit if they have a holiday at lake Garda.

This wall and entrance in this Garda village is spectacular, the castle appeared to me non accessible by the public but was beautiful! The walk up to the gate is just fantastic, gorgeous flowers and lovely weather just makes it more appealing. When visiting Lake Garda I would most definitely advice visiting this village.

Beautiful walled town, perfect to spend the day strolling, photographing, sipping great coffee, enjoying a glass of vino on the promenade or harbour. Highly recommended. Lots of parking nearby €150-€2.00 per hour.

We took a ferry from Garda to Lazise for a visit to this lovely little town with its castle and great shops, cafes and Gelateria's. In the evening Tui had an evening cruise to this town which was fantastic to see the lights from the lake.

Having lunch at this charming small town. It's a lot more peaceful than in Garda or Malcesine. The lake front promenade is nothing special but still beautiful. There are lots of shops and restaurants in the town and most of the narrow lanes are shaded. Good for a walk and window shopping.
