Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I had the pleasure of immersing myself in a traditional dance class in Salento and the experience was nothing short of magical!
Enrica (teacher) was amazing!! Thanks to her dedication and expertise, I not only learned the dance steps but also gained a deeper understanding of the cultural significance and heritage behind each movement.
If you are a curious traveler seeking to immerse yourself in local culture, this class offer a unique opportunity to connect with the rhythmic heartbeat of Salento!

Run by a local family that welcome you with open arms in the Italian spirit of family. Highly skilled and generationally handed down knowledge of pasta making Super fun by yourself if wanting to meet people or as a couple or with friends. A must do when in Lecce! Don’t eat much beforehand, you eat what you make…. And it’s a lot :)

Great experience! Had a lot of fun learning to make pasta. Our teachers were extremely patient as we were all slow learners! Enjoyed sitting down after class to enjoy the fruits of our labors and chat with the other participants. Highly recommend!

One of the greatest nights I’ve had with my family in years. Getting to make our own, and eat, authentic Puglian pasta in Lecce, and sample a variety of delicious other side dishes and local red and white wines, was my definition of heaven. Well worth the money, and being held in a baroque styled house and hosted by warm and friendly locals made the experience all the more enjoyable. Highly recommend.

We had just arrived in Lecce and found the walking tour was a perfect way to start our stay in Lecce. Enrica told us a lot about Lecce and also the food we tasted and enjoyed. She also gave us extra information to help us explore and enjoy even more of Lecce. Don’t eat breakfast before this tour. Highly recommended.

Great experience for the three of us. We enjoyed learning how to make the two kinds of pasta, as well as eating the dinner at the end. The wine was nice as well.

Fun activity where you can to learn how to make 2 different kinds of pasta, the orrechiette and the macaroni. You get to do this in a very old, medieval structure in the heart of the historical part of Lecce.
The instructors Anna Maria and Teresa spoke Italian only but then Enrica was able to translate to all the non Italian speaking attendees. We got to know some other couples and friends who were travelling Puglia and did this activity with us. Eventually we ate the pasta that we did and this was mixed with a tomotoe sauce but it was tasty nonetheless.
Besides the pasta you get offered water and wine, accompanied with some Pizzica musical (typical of Lecce). Totally recommend this experience

A lovely informal stroll through Lecce’s Old Town, grazing on some local delicacies. Sadly, I was not hungry, nor was the other participant, and our guide was not either, so food did not get eaten, but it was a pleasant learning experience.

Great ! Experience with professional local guide. She is from the city and knows all ins and outs and history. Tasted typical local food and drinks. I come again in the summer.
