Excellent for Adults and children ,we attended an open evening which are normally on the first Friday of each month from 21 hr to 23 hr but as Friday was a holiday it was open on the Thursday evening.

The observatory is well worth a visit, it's not a huge place with massive telescopes and lots of technological wizardry but it is run by astronomers who are enthusiastic about their work and the subject which makes for a very interesting and informative 2 hours....More
