We were initially a bit hesitant due to quite a few negative reviews but so glad we decided to try this for ourselves as we had a lovely day out. It is a £1 per person entry into the park, which includes the soft play, mini golf and playground. These all kept our children (age 4 and 15 months) entertained... More

Arriving at the farm it was very confusing finding the right car park some were behind a barrier and we only through because somebody was coming out and allowed the barrier to open. Nothing is signed just take a chance park and walk. I choose the wrong direction and walked all the way back. I ate in the café just... More

My 3 year old and I went during half term and were so disappointed. Paying a pound to get in (fine with that) then everything seemed to require tokens? 2 tokens for a 35 second ride on tea cups? ( 1 token = £1) None of the staff were happy (apart from a lovely girl who was running the car... More

We went for a work Christmas night night out here, and paid £50 for it. The food was really cold. They didn't bring the food for the guy next to me and when I said to them he hadn't got his they said 'well do you want it or not!' No apology, could t believe it. Then even the coffee... More

Thank you for your feedback. We are not aware of any issues or complaints with regard to Christmas parties. Could you please email your details, company name and the date of the party to mfenton@thehopfarm.co.uk and we will investigate. This is highly unusual as we only receive huge compliments for our hospitality team's service and delivery, particularly for our parties... More

Some attractions fail to please everyone but living nearby I have always found the Hop Farm a fascinating insight into the history of Kent and the beer making for which Kent is famous and pest control is necessary!

Be aware, there are pigeons being shot in daylight, so think twice if you are taking your children there. Very sad. The whole place is falling apart, animals kept in inadequate conditions. Can't recommend.

Dear Magdalena, Thank you for your feedback. The Family Park is closed until February half term so we're not sure whether you've reviewed the correct venue. Point to note: our animal farm is beautifully maintained with a loving, caring team looking after many rescued animals. We suggest you check you have commented on the correct venue before sending negative and... More

The grotto and waiting area was really lovely and warm cosy and festive. The elves were full of spirit and enthusiasm and mother Christmas was really friendly and made everyone feel welcome and my daughter loved storytime. Santa was fun and friendly and really chatted with the children about their likes and hobbies. He even made us parents feel included... More

Reading the negative review on here I nearly cancelled my grandsons annual visit which I had pre-booked in November. Thank goodness I didnt!! My grandsons aged 9, 7 and 23 months went with their parents and Grandad on Saturday and had the most marvellous time. They were greeted by two friendly ladies on Reception who stamped everybodies hand with Santas... More

I took my nephew to Hops Farm to see father Christmas and it was terrible. The entrainment was budget and hardly had anything to offer. We waited an hour to see Santa even though we were given a time slot, when we finally saw him he was let down. The pictures that were taken were terrible and then we had... More
