Some attractions fail to please everyone but living nearby I have always found the Hop Farm a fascinating insight into the history of Kent and the beer making for which Kent is famous and pest control is necessary!

Be aware, there are pigeons being shot in daylight, so think twice if you are taking your children there. Very sad. The whole place is falling apart, animals kept in inadequate conditions. Can't recommend.

Dear Magdalena, Thank you for your feedback. The Family Park is closed until February half term so we're not sure whether you've reviewed the correct venue. Point to note: our animal farm is beautifully maintained with a loving, caring team looking after many rescued animals. We suggest you check you have commented on the correct venue before sending negative and... More

The grotto and waiting area was really lovely and warm cosy and festive. The elves were full of spirit and enthusiasm and mother Christmas was really friendly and made everyone feel welcome and my daughter loved storytime. Santa was fun and friendly and really chatted with the children about their likes and hobbies. He even made us parents feel included... More

Reading the negative review on here I nearly cancelled my grandsons annual visit which I had pre-booked in November. Thank goodness I didnt!! My grandsons aged 9, 7 and 23 months went with their parents and Grandad on Saturday and had the most marvellous time. They were greeted by two friendly ladies on Reception who stamped everybodies hand with Santas... More

I took my nephew to Hops Farm to see father Christmas and it was terrible. The entrainment was budget and hardly had anything to offer. We waited an hour to see Santa even though we were given a time slot, when we finally saw him he was let down. The pictures that were taken were terrible and then we had... More

one goat, one pig, 2 donkeys, one rabbit and a poney in the farm bit which you pay £1 per adult on top of the £1 from the entrance... the other attractions were not really open for a frosty autumnal day with a baby. The one good thing was the Delorean from Back to the Future which was there for... More

Thank you visiting the Family Park and your feedback. As we are in the off-peak season, term-time. the rides and attractions are limited (like other visitor attractions). We are currently refurbishing and upgrading the animal farm (there are notices on our website and on site too) where it will re-launch in Spring. Sometimes the animals are moved off-site while the... Thank you for visiting the Hop Farm Family Park and for your feedback. We're disappointed to hear you didn't enjoy your visit, however we do have to clarify some of the points that have been made. Went to the firework display on Saturday 29th October 2016. . Because of the poor organisation and the fact that all of the fireworks were lit and set off in the same place the smoke from the fireworks descended onto the field and the fireworks which were being lit. The display was completely overshadowed by a huge cloud of thick... More

Thank you for your feedback. I can confirm (and also you can view the Met Office radar records) that thick dense fog formed quickly that evening in low lying areas of Kent. In addition, the same display and in the same location took place the night before without any issues. There were car accidents on the M20 and M25 due... More
