About
Welcome to our kitesurf school, We opened up our kiteschool in Sicily in 2010. Our kiteinstructors are all qualified IKO instructors. In our kiteschool in Lo Stagnone lagoon the motto is safety first and we take care of you at your kitecourse and at your kiterental. We just have maximal 2 people in a group. Our kitecenter is equipped with kiteboarding and windsurfing gear. We have one of the biggest landing and launching area supported with parking place and chill-out area with bar. We are always there to help you. We offer different kitecourses: beginner group lessons, advanced refresher and private freestyle lessons with high-tech radio helmet. One km long shallow water with no waves we are sure that you will fall in love with kitesurfing and make a good progress. At the end of the kitecourse you can do the IKO qualification which allows you to do rental all over the world without asking you to take additional kitecourses. We went there in April, for a week. The windsurfing and kiting spot is in a shallow lagoon: good wind but small waves and 100% safety. There was only one morning when the wind was not strong enough for windsurfing. Gábor is a great teacher, patient but gently makes you try things out of your comfort zone. There are plenty of things to do in the evening, too: Sicilian dinner party on an olive farm; trips to historic places such as Mozia, Erice, Marsala, Mazara del Vallo, and we took a day trip to Segesta.

You find everything you need to enjoy your kitesurfing day, enough space for launching and landing, parking area, toilet, food kiosk, rental gear, kite teachers, friendly hosts and wind ! Mann thanks to Adrienne and Gabor, we will come back soon.

We spent a great week on the spot with friends. 2 of us took lessons from Gabor&Lilla -they are both great teachers- patient and calm-they could manage to get me on the board in 2 days😃😃😃
We had perfect wind during the whole week, the water is max. 1 meter deep. You can walk trough the whole lagoon- no need to swim after your kite-but you have to be carefull with the plants in the water-some of them can hurt your leg/arms. The best is to wear wetsuit against them... The lagoon gets quite busy by the afternoon, but the experience of kiteing in the sunset worth the crowd.
There is no need to bring your own kite, you can rent brand new staff on the spot that fits to the current wind situation& avoid to struggle with the overzised lagguage on the airport.
Deffinetly one of our best holiday ever-need to go back still this season!!!!

We have been visiting KiteSurf Sicily several times over the last 2 years and every time it has been a great experience. The lagoon Lo Stagnone is a great spot for beginners as well as advanced kiters. KiteSurf Sicily is slightly away from the main spot in Santa Maria, which makes their spot much less crowded. We did a beginners course with Gabor the fabulous kite teacher and since then returned several times to improve our skills. The groups at KiteSurf Sicily are very small, so you get most out of your lessons. Gabor and his team are also always watching out for their ex-pupils, so you can always feel safe. Gabor and his wife Adrienne (the good soul of the school) made us feel very welcome and they organised great Sicilian dinners at Fontana Salsa for us and the rest of the group. We first came to Gabor and Adrienne as guests, now we are friends! This school is highly recommended for kite beginners of all age groups!!

Hello,
I plan to go for a holiday from approx 17th till 25th of august. During this holiday I planned to SURF almost every day for about 2-3 hours. I am not a beginner but for safety I would ask for an instructor. I will come with my parents, they obviously don't surf. They will be sunbathing on the beach somewhere nearby I will be surfing. Therefore I need a brief description of the place where surfing area is located, please.Â
Could you, please answer these questions:
-What is the forecast for the waves and wind for those dates(+/- 17-25)? How many metres high waves? If they will be suitable for surfing long board/funny board?;
-How much does the equipment cost for 2 hours + instructor =? Equipment for the whole day + 2 hours instructor =? Equipment for the whole day?
-Do you provide any kind of an insurance?
-How far surfing area is located from the city center (by car; by bus)?;
-Are there any sharks, jellyfishes or other dangerous animals in the water next to the surfing area?
-Do you do groups/individual lessons?
