A wonderfully hilly 18-holes golf course with breathtaking views, challenging holes, a continuous change of scenarios that will have you reach for shorter irons and safer woods. Playing t safe is mandatory, but the pleasure of playing this grand old course is unequalled. ONly a...More

stick to smaller bars and restaurants, if you like the exclusive feel of 'clubs' then you'll love it but if its casual drinking or people watching then i wouldnt bother

My husband had a fab day, an excellent golf course it was 65 euros to play plus 25 euros for clubs and a trolley. If you need a taxi it was 20 euros each way from Cadenabia

We had a great round of golf at the Menaggio Golf Club. The club house is exquisite with old world, slightly British, charm. There is a giant window overlooking Lake Como. The red wine they served at the bar was outstanding.

Played the course in July 2011. Very tight but a good test of whether you can hit the ball straight. Welcoming to visitors. Buggy recommended this is a course carved out of a steep hillside. Well worth the effort.

You can hire clubs (but call ahead) but I don't think you can hire shoes. You could get a cheap.pair in Decathlon, this course is worth taking the trouble.
