Over century old funicular on edge of town about 10 minute walk across park from the centre. 7€ charge for return is not a bad price. Best place is standing on platform at front or back but depends where you are in queue. Journey about...More

Great way to get up to Montecatini Alto. Runs every half hour and on time, unlike some other forms of public transport. Great views

Must take the Funicular to top of mountain for dinner. There is a roundtrip fee for the cable ride. Amazing view and nice outdoor restaurants. Great experience. Cute little shops.

Over 100 years cable-carts running on over 38% hill. Around 8 minutes trip with great view on Montecatini terme and surroundings. A must-see in Montecatini!

Must do when in the Montecatini area. 2-way ticket is just 6 euros and well worth it. Takes you from Montecatini Terme to Montecatini Alto in about 5 minutes.
