We use the hotel frequently on business , clean efficient and professionally run establishment that caters for the traveller and tourist alike. Good sized rooms, they are quiet, and breathtaking views and all essentials provided. Oh yes it’s on a hill, sorry Captain America .

Lots of history in this town. I love the little wine bars around town. They are called catinas. The wineries give tastings this way because to visit the Vinyard you need an appointment

We went on a wonderful wine tour organised from la Casella . We went to two fantastic wineries . One in montepulciano with the most amazing historic cellar complex including an Etruscan cellar. It was most informative and the wine was very good.

Spent an afternoon in this town tasting Vino Nobile wines and cheese. Great experience! The town itself has medical architecture and well preserved.
