On this day trip from Florence, your guide introduces you to acclaimed Tuscan wineries in the Orcia Valley (Val d’Orcia) region for wine tastings with local experts. We are very blessed, we’ve been lucky enough to wine taste around the world and Cantina Crociani is one of the best experiences we’ve ever enjoyed! The location is lovely and the expertises provided by Roberta is simply the best. Great vino, great food and a wonderful hostess, what more could you want!

Went for a wine tasting here in Multipulciano. Roberta was our hostess and she was exceptional! She was extremely knowledgeable about all of the different wines we tasted and also offered us cheese, bread, and olive oil as snacks between the tastings. She did not rush us, was courteous, and most accommodating. This place is a bit off the path of the tourist area but well worth the walk up the hill to it. The wine is great too and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

We called ahead to book a tasting for 7. I don’t know if pre-booking changes things, but this tasting was one of the best I have had. They started with a tour of the cellar and brief history of the family’s winery. We were then taken to a table set with glasses for both wine and water. They started by serving bread with their “evoo”, then took us through 8 wines. The guide explained the variations in grapes and processes. After the first samples, they brought out two platters of pecorino cheese and various meats of the region. Fabulous tasting.

We just spent time here walking through, intending to come back, but we just ran out of time. I do suggest that you include this cantina in your wine tasting plans, as it is a very nice wine tasting room with appropriate foods of the area, and I knew of the wines from previous years in Italy.
