We were greeted very happily by Phillipe (may be spelled wrong) and offered a free tour of the winery. He was obviously very proud of their wines and very knowledgeable so we learned a lot. He then allowed us to taste several wines free of charge and we even got to taste one of the reds in the barrel room while we chatted. He then let us taste a white right out of one of the fermentation tanks, which was very cool. We had a great time talking with him and learning about their winery. We ended up purchasing several bottles that were all a very good price. It was the best experience we’ve had wine touring in Italy thus far and would highly recommend it!

We followed signs from the road to this lovely place- persevere because you start to doubt you're going the right way!
Its well worth keeping going- we were taken into a lovely room and had a great intro. The wine tasting costs 8 euros for the basic tasting but that got reduced when we were buying a few bottles of wine. Nora ran the tasting and she was an utter delight- funny and lively and had some great descriptions. We left feeling we'd made new friends!

Have v much enjoyed their ristorante, but not stayed in the agriturismo. We have regularly bought wine from there, and the tasting sessions and tour of the wine making can be in English or Italian. They have won a zillion prices for their vino. The red can be about £40 in a restaurant in the UK (it is v v v difficult to find here) but about 10 euros from there.
They are very efficient and not sleepy laid back Italians. The other local produce is good too, and it is of course fun to know the farm where the honey/olive oil/truffles were made and grown
