This is a very easy walk up - you can even take a lift a good part of the way. You are rewarded with spectacular views all over Orvieto and the surrounding countryside. It only costs a few euro- worth the effort!

The great view offered by the top platform is the deserved prices for the efforts to reach the top ;-). I have been there with my girlfriend: we enjoyed the beautiful view of the medieval city and the Tevere's valley. Best place to take pictures....More

This is an elevated observatory tower with a clock at the top.
Going up to the top is possible via stairs (after paying entrance ticket), but the view of the entire city and its architecture is fantastic.
I am looking for panorama point in every place I visit. This tower has really nice view on the roofs of Orvieto. There is a lift that takes you to second floor, but after you still need to climb lot of steps. worth an effort
Orvieto stands on the top of a steep rock. Doing a review of the whole town not just this viewing spot. Any where you look there are great views over the countryside. A lot of walking as usual but worth every step. Corso Cavour is...More
