The cathedral is located at the Piazza del Duomo and is dedicated to Saint Zeno of Verona. It is a very ancient building, probably from the 10th century with a facade in the Romanesque style, very typical for the city. The church has a single...More

From the della Robbia ceramic over the entrance, to the main altar, to the spectacular side altar -- all in silver -- depicting the life of St. James, this is a church not to be missed.

This Duomo has some interesting art. Quite cool on a hot day. Climb up the Campanile is recommended.

The Cathedral is easily reached, apart from market day on a Saturday when you can lose your bearings. Not a vast church but well worth a look for architecture and art works.

A very beautiful and interesting Duomo. Well worth a visit with interesting medieval frescoes, crypts and silver alter. However some later intrusions sometimes ruin the atmosphere but still worth a visit.
