Was a little disappointed with the Spiaggia Grande Beach is was quite small and overcrowded. It was nice to take a look but we decided to go to the bar and look at the beach from a distance. Its a tick of the bucket list...More

I found Spiaggia Grande Beach to be both expensive and crowded! Lounge chairs were 17.50 Euros a piece and that was not even for front row chairs (those were 20 Euros). You must have flip flops or water shoes, as the beach is extremely rocky...More

Seriously, this place is uncomfortably crowded with mostly inebriated young adults obsessively taking selfies. Seeing this narcissistic charade soured our experience immediately. We've been to 20+ Italian cities/towns in the past 3 years and have never seen anything so ridiculous. The beach media if full...More

The challenge with "beaches" in Italy is that Italy seems to define anyplace were swimming could occur as beach, whether it be a place with sand, rocks or a pier built into the water. As long as that is understood in advance, you will not...More

Do avoid this beach. Ridiculously over priced. They charge 17.50 euros for a beach chair and if you nerd to rent a towel they charge 7.50 euros and they also charge a security deposit of 20 euros for the towel. Skip showering because they also...More

The view of Positano from this beach is simply breathtaking, the rocks are smooth and prevent you from getting dirty and the water is dreamlike. Better if you come early in the morning to find the right spot and take amazing pictures (as I did)...More

I visited Positano beach during high season and i have to say it was utterly vulgar. The overcrowding was overwhelming to the point that the place didn't seem special at all. In order to get a sun lounger, it was 15 euros min depending on...More

This is the largest beach in Positano and perhaps the entire Amalfi Coast. The beach and the surrounding area is filled with locals and tourist taking in the sun and the fun. Many boat tours to Capri and the surrounding area leave right from the...More

We parked high in the centre of the town. As we went down the stairs it got more and more crowded. It might sound nice and lively, but it's way too much. If you want romantic, historic setting go to Ravello.

We got to the beach early and wanted one of the chairs closest to water. I believe it was 20E for the day. *per person There is bottle service but it's not cheap. Chairs are good, umbrellas. The beach is stones and you really need...More

The above person is correct. There is a podium that has 2 persons there to check you in. I believe that its 8 euro per person for a chair. Bring your towel from your hotel and you're set. It's worth it!
