We went on a trial scuba dive around the archaeological site. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I had dived before but was not confident. In the water I struggled but the instructor took the time with me and persevered and I was able...More

After watching a BBC documentary in 2016 about the submerged ruins in the Bay of Naples I resolved to come and scuba dive. From Australia it can be hard to judge the professionalism and competency of a dive operator in Italy. No problems here. A...More

The dive leads we're knowledgeable and friendly. They spoke English quite well and the price is very reasonable for the experience. I would do this dive again for sure.

I have been certified for 40 years and have never had a more satisfying dive. The site staff and dive crew are exceptionally pleasant and professional. The dive into 2000 year genuine archaeology with statues and terrazo floors is sublime. It is a shallow dive,...More

The diving center “Centro Sub Campi Flegrei” is located right in the Archaeology Park of Baia, a magic location where you can literally smell the scent of history. The structure of this diving centre is excellent, with the availability of both air and nitrox tanks,...More

We did the snorkeling tour, as we were limited on time and don't have scuba experience. The water is a bit murkier than the Caribbean, so you can't really see down 20 ft. You have to dive down to see anything, which is limiting with...More

Just to clarify, I we are from Argentina. I have been diving for almost 20 years now and my wife just started recently. We did three dives, two at the archeological site and one out at the island (Ischia). One of the owners suggested we...More

Such a deceving experience... I was horribly disapointed by the snorkeling, and the staff... I've rarely seen so much unpleasant people. We arrived on time for the 15.00 tour and left at about 16.00. As we planned to snorkel on other places during our trip...More

Went with my daughter to do the PADI Underwater Archeology spec. I have a medical condition which makes managing heavy weights difficult at times and they cheerfully gave me all the help I needed. We hired BCDs and regs from them and had no problems....More

I am looking at taking the train down from Rome for a day of diving with my son, and am curious what the recommended way to get from the train station to the SCUBA shop is? Is it best to take the train to Pozzuoli Solfatara and then catch a taxi?

We're a couple PADI certified open water divers. We'll be traveling to the Campania area Aug 2-Aug 6. We want to have a variety of dives (ideally archeological, marine life and natural formation). But we also want to experience the culture on land (especially in the evenings) and visit a few sites at Pompeii, Herculaneum, Paestum, Sorrento and Naples. Where do you recommend to stay and how to get around during this period, especially recognizing that it is peak travel season? (We heard the traffic could be bad.) Thank you!
